What is the difference between Nano Ceramic Protect and a dealer applied sealant?

Nano Ceramic Protects 9H line is more durable than any sealant available on the market today in almost every aspect of protection and visually has a beautiful gloss shine.

 

What makes Nano Ceramic Protect different then other “CERAMIC COATINGS”?

There are many products available on the market. The principle differences are the amount of SiO2) content in the product. Some have levels as low as 5% as typically found in maintenance sprays. Others have as much as 70%. As a general rule the higher the level of SiO2 the more durable the product will be. Our New Car Detail (Ceramic) uses products with very high levels of SiO2 content.

When you purchase a vehicle, you are investing your hard-earned money into something you want to last! The average American keeps their vehicle around 6 years, that’s a lot of everyday wear and tear.  You want your vehicle to look as amazing as it did the day you drove it off the dealer’s lot. But despite your efforts at maintaining and washing, the scratches, chips, and stains start to spread across your vehicles’ exterior and the paint begins to dull & fade from the sun, which spurns many consumers to find ways of providing protection for their investment.

What are the current Ceramic Coating options?

Although they’re just now going “mainstream” – vehicle ceramic coatings have been around the detailing industry for several years now. However, because of their high costs and limited amount of detailers, they’ve previously only been accessible mainly overseas for enthusiasts or owners of high-end vehicles.

There are two options when deciding you want your vehicles surface ceramic coated:

Professional Application-Ceramic Coating

To be done properly a Ceramic Coating should be applied by licensed professional and in a temperature-controlled environment. Why? Once a true ceramic coating is applied to a surface the product is permanent and must be sanded off. Preparation is key before application. The use of specialized equipment and labor from trained professionals make this cost higher but well worth your investment. Properly installed ceramic coatings typically takes anywhere between 3-5 days depending on the condition of your paint, the size of the vehicle and the packages you select.

 

But what about the average person who doesn’t drive a Ferrari or doesn’t want to pay high price for an auto ceramic coating? I’ve heard of other do it yourself “ceramic” coatings and products, don’t they do the same thing?

Yes, they do have other products out in the market that claim to be “Ceramic” in some form. Recently, a range of consumer level car coatings have been entering the marketplace. This has placed ceramic coatings in the hands of many who are more concerned about quantity over quality. The quality & durability of these products can vary immensely, and you must remember that proper application is key.

What Does a Nano Ceramic Protect 9h line Ceramic Coating Do?

The reason ceramic coatings are growing in popularity is because when installed properly they have so many benefits!

Nano Ceramic Protect’s 9h line has a hydrophobic effect means that water is repelled instantaneously. When your vehicle is sprayed with our Nano Ceramic Protect  9h line, the incredible hydrophobic effect of the coating will cause water to bead up and roll off the surface along with most dirt, grime, or mud (as it has all been unable to bond to your vehicle’s paint).  Any remaining dirt on the vehicle can be removed with less effort. When it comes to mud and dirt, Nano Ceramic Protect 9h line protects your paint coating and works much harder at protecting the surface of your vehicle than an ordinary product available on the market. Water will bead as opposed to accumulating on the surface.

 

 

 

 Protection from UV Damage/Oxidization/Rust and Improved Durability

Not every consumer can provide proper covering such as a garage or covering for their vehicle and this often leaves them exposed to the sun. Eventually a consumer will start seeing the paint fade and look dull. This is caused by the sun’s ultraviolet sun-rays, which causes oxidation to the car’s paint. By spraying Nano Ceramic Protects 9h line of Ceramic Coating onto your vehicles paint, you can dramatically deduce this oxidation.

 

Nano Ceramic Protect 9h line works much harder at protecting the surface of your vehicle than an ordinary product. The 9h line bonds on a molecular structure level to your vehicles paint and can’t be dislodged by vibrations or external force, meaning it lasts years not months. What Does a 9H Ceramic Coating NOT Do?

There are many misconceptions about what the protection of a Ceramic Coating does and does not cover. Some of it might be logical, but never the less, let’s start off by saying this. Even Nano Ceramic Protect 9h line does not make your car bulletproof. 

 

Ceramic Coatings do help to reduce rock chips from damaging your vehicles paint, but cannot completely stop deep penetration. Nano Ceramic Protect 9h line does not replace proper care or maintenance and they do not prevent dings or dents from hitting the paints surface. Most importantly Ceramic Coatings do not last forever! When your vehicle is coated with a ceramic coating it doesn’t mean you no longer need to dust, wash or remove bird droppings. You still do. The difference is that maintaining your paint will require less elbow grease and less time.
